Jimmy Faulkner
James H. (Jimmy) Faulkner of Bay Minette, Alabama is a radio executive, educator, author, and former mayor, state legislator, gubernatorial candidate and newspaper publisher. Faulkner University in Montgomery - a private college - and Faulkner State Community College - a state college - in Bay Minette, are named in his honor. He has been writing his newpaper column "Mumblings" for approximately 60 years and it is featured weekly in Gulf Coast Newspapers.
